Jenifer learns to snowboard

This past weekend we all went snowboarding up at Wolf Creek. Jenifer rented some snowboard gear and tried it out for the first time ever! Her tailbone is sore now, something that can happen in your first few attempts at snowboarding.

I would have to say that snowboarding is harder to learn than skiing, but easier to master. And definitely more rewarding!

Anyway, although being quite sore after her first attempt, she seemed to have some fun. But I won’t be surprised if she goes skiing next time… it can be hard on your body!

I’ve only been skiing the once. My brother-in-law took me to Hotham for my birthday. It was a lot of fun although I did do a faceplant much the same as you did on your first snowboarding trip. Unlike you I just wrenched the hell out of my neck but didn’t knock myself out. It was still a lot of fun and I’m keen to get the kids up to Mammoth next year. A coworker has a holiday house up there that he said he’ll let me use for a week or so.
