Travel disappointment
I kind of got busy at the end of last week. I had so many things to do, the biggest disappointment was my travel plans. I called the travel agent on Friday to find out whats up, I gave her a huge, detailed email about when I wanted to leave, and asked for pricing and availability of 3 different travel methods. (ie. Leave from Durango, or Denver, and also to add another flight in Australia)
I haven’t heard a peep from her in 2 weeks. So I am starting to get worried. And she was out Friday which was the bummer. So I sit here still not really sure if the trip is on when I want or not. And my family already bought cricket tickets in Sydney, hehe…
Weekend was quiet, the boys are excited. I bought some new clothes this weekend… it’s an event because, well, the last time I bought clothes was when I visited California a couple years ago! I mean really buying clothes, more than just a shirt. Buying a decent quantity in one outing. That time, what back in 2003, I bought about 6 shirts and a few pants. This weekend I bought 2 new pairs of jeans and some new slacks for work. So not quite as much as 2 years ago, but still a decent outing, for me anyway…
I should be excited and perky right now, but I am not, because I think I need to have firm plans about the trip. I was getting so bummed I decided that last night we’d get out our trip materials (brochures, etc) and go over them again and maybe come up with some more ideas. But then I didn’t feel like it…

I’m sorry to hear that. I hate having to rely on others to get things involving me done. Can you try a different travel agent?
I would be loudly pissed..lol I’d make it a point to let the people who didn’t do the job know that I was heading elsewhere too :p
I hope that you are well and that you get your vacation set in stone.
