Webcam setup

We’ve located and setup our webcam, so if you want to Skype or Yahoo let me know and we’ll organize a video session. Unless of course I am working, which is what I am doing right now.

The boys just got home from school and it seems we might have to have Liam wait until next year. They’re going to let him finish the week out and fully determine if that’s the go. They’ve just done too much in class already for Liam to catch up. It’s only K so I’m surprised but want to do what’s best for him. They both loved the School though!

Liam might be better off waiting until next year anyway. As one of the younger kids in his class my son seemed to struggle a bit with what was required from him in 1st Grade (& it seems so much more nowadays) and the wife and I both thought he might have been better off waiting a year. Too late now, though. I’ve heard of other parents doing that, either holding their kid back, or just not enrolling them until the next year, and the kids have apparently coped a lot better than their younger classmates.

Then again, adversity builds character, or something like that :D

I love that expression on your face as you’re listening to Sugarcult: “Er…ok. Am I supposed to be enjoying this?”

Perhaps it takes 48 hours to activate? Like Verizon.

Let’s hope it’s that, and they’re not former sofa-delivery people.

I had to wait out a year too before starting kindy (was almost 19 when I graduated from h.s.)… my mother always said it was the best decision she made. It won’t be the end of the world. :)

G’day Tors great to hear from you! I personally also had a year and a half of first grade, as we moved from NSW to QLD and they didn’t understand what Kindergarten was or something? So they chucked me into the next best thing: first grade.

You’re right though. Besides, he can meet friends at the start of the year. Nevan doesn’t though and it’s definitely a concern. :S
