We’ve just sat down in the boarding area at Los Angles International Airport. Security was relatively painless although Nevan had to have additional screening as he has his cast on. We had no worries asking the boys to take some Airborne courtesy of the new Pixie Dust Airborne, a kids candy type variety of the famous preventative sickness stuff.

Earlier today we drove down to LA with the family and a close family friend to spend lunch with great grandma.

Jenifer’s aunt and cousin were around as well so it was a good chance to say goodbye to more family. We were treated to a great lunch and a nice afternoon relaxing before being dropped off at the airport. Leaving Jenifer’s family was very difficult, especially for Jenifer and her family. It’s always tough letting go, we’re doomed in a way to always be away from one family. But we know we’ll be seeing them all sooner rather than later.
