The Ceremony:
The wedding ceremony almost went off like a dream.
Everything was perfect. From the flower arrangements to the cake, everything was perfect,
and beautiful. People made it clear this was a beautiful wedding, and I am just thankful
to have been a part. I thank everyone who pitched in, you all did an awesome job. But on
to the main attraction. The Bride. It was quite the knee wobbling event, for me anyway. The man who married us was our Pastor, Tom Gaddis. We had been through weeks and weeks of Pre-Marital Counseling prior to the wedding with our Pastor, and now this magnificent event was finally taking place. We want to thank Pastor Tom from deep in our hearts for the wonderful job he did on our wedding day. He kept the ceremony very fun for all, with his good humour. My best man, Michael Funkhouser, performed a wonderful guitar solo during the ceremony. The song was called "My Best Friend ©" and the words were written by me, inspired by my wife. She never knew we were writing and practicing for a song, so it came as a surprise and a gift to her. People expressed their love for the song during the reception. The song will be available for download soon! I had the pleasure in seeing my own mum watch on as her son was being married. Mum flew out from Australia 3 days before my wedding. |
