The Ceremony:

The wedding ceremony almost went off like a dream. Everything was perfect. From the flower arrangements to the cake, everything was perfect, and beautiful. People made it clear this was a beautiful wedding, and I am just thankful to have been a part. I thank everyone who pitched in, you all did an awesome job. But on to the main attraction. The Bride.

You can almost hear the music plays as you see here the Bride entering, and beneath the veil you can see her crying in joy. There has been a great build-up to this joyous event, the greatest day in her life, and it's hard to hold in your emotions. I can tell you, from where I was standing, I was awestruck at watching Jenifer enter. She was so beautiful. She was magnificent. As the music started, the guests of around 300 all stood and turned to watch her walk down the aisle. All the men turned and watched this beautiful sight, while myself, my heart was crying out in joy. :) This was my day also, and why should I hide my emotions?

Jenifer and I faced the guests for most part of the ceremony, as you can see here in the photograph. The reason we did this was so everyone could watch us clearer and hear us better. We feel this was more enjoyable for everyone. We also had microphones for louder voices.

It was quite the knee wobbling event, for me anyway. The man who married us was our Pastor, Tom Gaddis. We had been through weeks and weeks of Pre-Marital Counseling prior to the wedding with our Pastor, and now this magnificent event was finally taking place. We want to thank Pastor Tom from deep in our hearts for the wonderful job he did on our wedding day. He kept the ceremony very fun for all, with his good humour.

My best man, Michael Funkhouser, performed a wonderful guitar solo during the ceremony. The song was called "My Best Friend ©" and the words were written by me, inspired by my wife. She never knew we were writing and practicing for a song, so it came as a surprise and a gift to her. People expressed their love for the song during the reception. The song will be available for download soon!

I had the pleasure in seeing my own mum watch on as her son was being married. Mum flew out from Australia 3 days before my wedding.
