The reception followed immediately after at the same garden venue. Guests moved about meeting & greeting, dancing & eating. I think I met 200 new people I had never met in my life.

The dancefloor was a very popular attraction during the reception. This dance was the dance of the wedding party. Jesse and Chris are in the center, with Rob and Miranda to the right. Michael Funkhouser and Amy are at the back. And the bride & groom are at the far left.

Now most people know of the "tradition" at weddings. I did not know. This collage above represents what happens when you dont know that you are supposed to smash the cake in your new brides face. So when I didn't, she seized the opportunity and slammed me. Brian, who was laughing behind me, got some when I threw cake at him too.

Good friends of mine, Peter and Scott. Peter was married this year 6 months before I was. And Scott, married 5 years ago. All being reasonably new in marriage, we all get along well, and the wives also get along well. We are kind of the church newlyweds group.
