Hayden turns 7
Little Hayden is lucky number 7 already!
It’s hard to believe it has been that long since my little Aussie mate arrived. Anyone who knows Hayden knows he is choc-full of confidence, continuously determining where his world begins and ends (and how much reach he has). This has its challenges… best demonstrated when, in his first week of school, he attempted to dictate to his teacher the homework schedule that worked best for him (tell your mum sorry Cameron!) Who does this in Kindergarten?
Don’t get caught in a conversation unless you’re in it for the long haul, this kid is full of beans and will happily talk your ear off all night.
One thing I am learning is that he will be fiercely independent and fiercely loyal. I envy his friends one day, they’ll have a rock solid mate. Here’s to Hayden Matthew, not to be confused with Matthew Hayden. 😉
