We’ve done it — we’re officially homeowners!
After months of searching, saving, and navigating the rollercoaster that is the American property market, we finally secured our first family home. It’s not just a roof over our heads; it’s a foundation for the future. A place to grow, to build memories, and to make our own.
The excitement is real. From choosing furniture to unpacking boxes, everything feels more meaningful because it’s ours. The kids already have favourite spots (and so do we), and there's a quiet pride in knowing that this home belongs to us - no more rent, inspections, or uncertainty.
Of course, the journey wasn’t always smooth. Interest rates, rising prices, and a few near-misses along the way kept things stressful. But now that we’re in, every bump in the road feels worth it. The dream is real, and it feels amazing to say: we’re home.
