Winter Maroubra Days

Winter Maroubra Days

We thought last weekends’ Spring-like day was a one off. Then we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and played around Coogee for the day. Much to our delight the warm weather returned once more, and once more dropped on a weekend!

Once again, people all over Sydney reacted appropriately to it. This time we decided to explore and play around another Sydney stunner, Maroubra. With my second eldest and again my two youngest; we spent the afternoon lunching, exploring the rocks and the playing on the beach. Thinking it might be weeks (or more) before we see such stunning weather again (despite “knowing” the same last weekend), we had an absolute ball… I hope I captured the memories well to savour.

Below are a few shots playing with the kids as well as some stunning shots of the rocky surrounds. A had to laugh in one as Hayden, my youngest son, decided to take off his shoe and remove pebbles before waves wash up into where he is. The featured photo above is one of my daughter Katherine playing hide-and-seek, teamed up with her older brother Liam and peeking around the corner to see where we are. Magic!
