Weโre joined by our great friends Brett and Abigail, and from the moment we walk through the door, the night is already special. Nel is known for its theatrical tasting menus, and this one is no exception. One of the early courses, โPoisoned Apple,โ is both beautiful and sinisterโexactly what youโd expect from a Snow White-inspired dish. โBe Our Guestโ channels the grand, over-the-top hospitality of Beauty and the Beast, while โUn Poco Locoโ explodes with vibrant flavors straight out of Coco. โThe Atlanticaโ brings in the oceanic essence of The Little Mermaid, delicate and fresh, while โThe Pumpkin Coachโ is a Cinderella-worthy showstopper.
The cocktails are another level of fun. Weโre sipping one from a Genie lamp and another from a rose-glass inspired by Belleโboth outrageous and expertly crafted. Each drink ties into the story unfolding at the table.
As we reach the final courses, dessert does not disappoint. โThe Great Honey Pot Robberyโ is a tribute to Winnie the Poohโrich, sticky, and comforting. And then thereโs โKnock Knockโฆโโa playful, mysterious finish that has us all grinning.
